Your students can chat to you throughout their course. They might have questions or need assistance. Or you might want to tell them something. This is done through the student chat feature: The Student Chat.

How do your students know when you are on line and available to chat?

  1. Click Organization on the side bar.

2. Scroll down to Chat Availability and set your timezone settings.

3. Choose your start and end times per day. If you leave these blank, it means you are not available that day (for example, Saturday and Sunday).

4. Scroll down and click update to save.

Students will now see what time you are online and available to chat.
